Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to join our team. Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment, conducts preventive maintenance, troubleshoots DC equipment and controls, and supports electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, PLC troubleshooting experience, and Three Phase electrical knowledge, plus solid machine shop skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three years industrial maintenance experience.
• One to three years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• One to three years of experience with electrical - such as Three Phase. Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
• Three years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• One to two years' experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
• Good Machine Shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment.
• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Records work done on forms provided.
• Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Performs equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.
