Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Winston-Salem and Garner, NC teams. Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and strong electrical/pneumatic/s welding skills.

Relocation assistance is available for the Southeast region, and visa sponsorship is not offered. Join a team that maintains production equipment, performs preventative maintenance, and ensures smooth operations across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 1–3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• 1–3 years experience with electrical systems (Three Phase).
• 1–2 years’ experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
• Good Machine Shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Performs equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.
