Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience in a plastics injection molding environment and a strong mechanical aptitude, especially in hydraulics and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Preferably eight years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a plastics injection molding environment.
• Basic understanding of injection molding and lighting component equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Safely perform lockout/tagout and other required safety programs.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude of hydraulics

Ability to read hydraulic schematics

Knowledge of pumps and plant facility maintenance

Experience with welding and fabrication
