Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for the night shift (8:30pm–4:30am) at our Glendale, Arizona plant. You will perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, change oil in vehicles and forklifts, and help keep equipment and facilities running smoothly.

Candidates must pass drug and background checks, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean record. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and proactive ordering of supplies to prevent

Facility Maintenance Mechanic Primary Responsibilities:

Maintenance Mechanic Minimum Qualifications:

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
