Job summary

Delta Sonic seeks an Overnight Equipment Mechanic to perform minor repairs on car wash equipment and handle maintenance tasks at our Chicago location. This benefitted, full-time role runs Monday-Thursday in a 4-day week with an hourly pay range of $20.00–$30.00 plus a $5 overnight differential, based on experience.

Candidate must be willing to work outdoors/in varying weather, have basic electrical/welding/plumbing experience, and able to troubleshoot effectively.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments.
• One to three years of electrical, welding, and plumbing experience is preferred.
• Good mechanic knowledge/skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently or as a team on assigned tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to frequently lift heavy weights, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities:

Delta Sonic's Overnight Equipment Mechanics are primarily responsible for conducting minor repairs to car wash equipment, property maintenance, light duty construction, new project start-ups, and building and equipment renovations. This is a benefitted, full-time position, with a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday. The pay range for this position is $20.00-$30.00 per hour, with an additional $5 per hour overnight differential, depending upon experience.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments
