Job summary

Vicinity Energy is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Baltimore, MD to maintain and repair equipment, piping systems, valves, and machinery at the company’s operation facilities. The role is full-time hourly with a 10% bonus target, located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager and work on rotating on-call shifts including nights and weekends. The position requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of maintenance experience in an industrial setting; 6G

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• 6G Welding Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with established Company policies.
• Identify, report and/or correct unsafe work environments.
• Assures compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.
• Participates in on-scene work taking direction from others.
• Operate all hand/power tools in a competent manner.
• Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot plant equipment including basic piping systems, valves, traps, pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Exercise caution in the use and maintenance of all company equipment.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Assigned to rotating on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
