Job summary

Vicinity Energy, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an IM&E Technician to maintain and repair electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and equipment across Vicinity’s Baltimore sites.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, union position reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The role pays $43.47 per hour with a 10% bonus target and requires a technical or trade school degree in electronics or related field and at least 2 years of progressive maintenance experience in central plant or process

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school degree in electronics, computer science, or equivalent industry training and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience as a technician performing maintenance and repair in central plant, power generation or other process plants.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with company policies.
• Identify, report and correct unsafe work environments.
• Assure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools competently.
• Maintain equipment controlling boilers, chillers, pumps, and other plant systems.
• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Install and program electronic instruments and calibration elements.
