Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic reports to the Engineer. The job holder is responsible for operating equipment and all related processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labeling) in compliance with legal and company rules.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provides maintenance on plant electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems, plus general maintenance, with limited supervision.
2. Follows all work instructions and safety rules, including the use of PPE and safety gear.
3. Maintains the general cleanliness of the plant area and the maintenance shop.
4. Practices safety in all actions, including start-up, shut-down, and lockout/tag-out procedures for all responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience in industrial mechanics (pumps, mixers, machinery repair), electrical work, and basic PLC troubleshooting, or equivalent technical training.

Pay is based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is to be determined.
