Job Summary

Responsible for light maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks performed safely and professionally. Must exercise caution in patient/resident care areas, keeping tools out of children's reach. Requires basic mechanical knowledge, competence with hand tools, meters, and gauges. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals is helpful. Must explain conditions accurately during troubleshooting, working safely and efficiently. Flexibility to work all shifts and hours is required. Adherence to policies, dress code, and effective communication are essential. Works independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of codes and regulations is necessary. Additional duties may include installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, groundskeeping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade or vocational school preferred. At least two years of experience in building systems is preferred. A valid driver's license and good driving record may be required depending on the location.
