Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join a long-established production team. The role covers troubleshooting and repairing mechanical/electrical issues on high-speed production line equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting food safety and continuous improvement in a can manufacturing setting.

This full-time position features rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with weekly schedule changes, weekend work, and overtime after 40

Qualifications

Two years of experience as a production line mechanic or technician, or an equivalent technical degree.
Experience with packaging equipment or can making equipment is a plus.
Understanding of automation principles and controls logic is a plus.
Ability to use maintenance shop equipment and work in a hot environment.
Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
Collaborate with Electrical staff to fix packaging and processing equipment wiring and drives.
Perform routine preventative maintenance safely and cost effectively.
Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead parts design or fabrication requests and coordinate with internal resources.
Maintain a clean, organized work area; assist with other duties as assigned.
