The Role
We are looking for an experienced maintenance mechanic to lead our maintenance team members and be responsible for servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, as well as the building facility.
We Are Hiring For
- Continental Night Shifts: 6:00pm – 6:15am.
What You Get To Do
- Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery, building and grounds.
- Recommend, plan and implement equipment needs to improve production efficiency, achieve cost reduction, and improve quality of product produced.
- Maintain company property to regulatory standards (state, local, safety, and GMPs).
- Develop, schedule, and control preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
- Oversee work order program to ensure approved work orders are prudent and completed in a timely fashion.
- Ensure GMP and safety policies are followed by direct reports and contractors.
- Maintain e‑time, conduct reviews, and perform training of direct reports.
- Maintain work areas and storage areas in a clean and neat fashion, abiding by GMP standards.
- Maintain inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase and working with the PM clerk; periodically review inventory for proper upkeep at plant facilities.
- Assist in coordination of capital installations.
- Support in training operators on maintenance‑related aspects of equipment.
- Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
What You Bring To The Role
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 5 or more years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and programming in a food manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certified.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.
- Innovative thinker with issue‑framing and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to deploy resources effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sound administrative and computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others to accomplish company goals.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
