We are looking for an experienced Production Lead to lead and coordinate activities of our packaging production team members.

We are looking for individuals who have the flexibility to work varying shifts, as shift times and patterns can change based on business needs. We are currently hiring for the below shifts.

  • Continental Day Shifts: 6:00am – 6:15pm.
  • Continental Night Shifts: 6:00pm – 6:15am.
What You Get To Do
  • Determine production needs based on schedule to ensure operational effectiveness while adhering to cost structures. Work in conjunction with Supervisor to improve production and labor efficiency.
  • Communicate shift performance and address issues including but not limited to safety, quality adherence, and efficiency and material usage.
  • Study variances and implement plans for improvements.
  • Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve goals. Develop subordinates and assume the role of trainer for new employees.
  • Utilize employees in a productive manner to increase shift labor and production efficiencies. Coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. Work closely with Quality to ensure adherence to product specifications and good manufacturing practices. Work closely with Maintenance in addressing equipment and processing needs to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct periodic safety audits and give feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Assure good housekeeping, equipment cleanliness and safe work environment.
  • Responsible for safety and security of all personnel on-site, including contractors and vendors.
  • Perform minor maintenance duties on production equipment.
  • Fulfill Production and QA duties as needed.
What You Bring To The Role
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years manufacturing experience with related equipment (packaging equipment preferred).
  • Experience in Quality Assurance activities.
  • Sound mechanical ability.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Results focused with strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with coworkers, subordinates and supervisors.
  • Sound administrative and computer skills.
  • Effectively and efficiently allocate resources for optimum utilization and with little supervision.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
