Job summary

Conestoga Wood Specialties Corporation in Kenly, North Carolina is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of industrial and forklift maintenance experience and a proven ability to perform preventive and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, servicing powered stand-up and sit-down trucks, and troubleshooting CNC and PLC equipment when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and forklift repair.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CNC/PLC is a plus.

Our Kenly, North Carolina facility located just off of Interstate 95 south of Kenly has an immediate opportunity for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift operation. Qualified individuals prefer at least (5) five years of experience with industrial and forklift maintenance and repair.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Ability to perform preventive and immediate response maintenance.
• Hands on experience with repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Experience maintaining and repairing powered stand-up and sit-down truck equipment.
• Problem-solving and trouble-shooting ability
• Experience with troubleshooting both CNC and PLC equipment is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Quick starter, self-driven, priority focused planning
• Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully
• Skills to work within a team
• Talent to recognize and propose continuous improvement processes
