Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the maintenance lead in installing, troubleshooting and repairing production and facility equipment in a safety‑driven environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, interpret manuals, and use hand and power tools to keep the facility running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years facility maintenance experience.
• 10-Hour OSHA General Industry safety training preferred.
• Willing to work flexible work hours.
• Good communication skills and legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow all policies.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform maintenance tasks and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Use hand and power tools and meters to complete tasks.
• Identify and report unusual conditions to supervision.
• Perform shredder teeth exchange and related maintenance.
