Job summary

Janus International Group seeks an on-site maintenance technician to lubricate machinery, inspect parts, and perform routine maintenance tasks. You will read work orders, test equipment, and assist with repairs to ensure optimal production operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an apprenticeship preferred and 1–2 years of related experience. Proficiency with maintenance databases and email is expected, plus ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read work orders and specs to determine maintenance needs.
• Familiarity with email and preventive maintenance database systems.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect issues.
• Inspect/test damaged machine parts and advise repair needs.
• Lubricate machines and replace parts per procedures.
• Set up and operate machines and adjust controls.
• Record maintenance information and work orders.
• Collaborate with coworkers to repair or move equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
