Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm ($20/hr - based on experience)

Job Summary

Responsible for safely maintaining production equipment, meeting scheduled preventive maintenance obligations, and assisting with configuration and setup of production molds. Requires experience and knowledge of injection molding presses, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Identify machine malfunctions through troubleshooting and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failures cost-effectively.
• Perform calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at scheduled intervals.
• Read blueprints, ladder logic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems.
• Assist with installation and removal of process equipment.
• Analyze and implement corrective actions and process tracking.
• Record equipment issues and activities in logs.
• Provide daily updates on equipment functioning.
• Set up laboratory equipment for testing, evaluation, and calibration.
• Inspect and disassemble instruments and components for defects.
• Align, repair, replace, and balance parts and circuitry.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience in the plastics industry maintaining and repairing injection molding machines.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing industry.

Physical Demands

Lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, standing, and sitting, with or without accommodations.

Work Environment

Exposure to weather conditions; moderate noise level.
