Job summary

Reworld Waste in the United States seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to handle planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment in our industrial disposal process.

The role requires 2–4 years of heavy industrial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a rotating shift. Competitive base salary with day-one health insurance and 401(k) matching benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years’ experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages with teams.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment and tools.
• Use maintenance documentation program to manage work orders, parts, and activities.
• Repair/maintain operating condition of machinery including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as needed.
• Observe equipment to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical methods.
• Review maintenance reports to plan and modify activities.
• Inspect machines for conformance with safety and performance standards.
