Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair industrial production machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect, service, and repair equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, to ensure optimal operation and uptime.

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, plus experience with industrial controls and SAP, are preferred. This role offers opportunities for development within a leading dairy processor, with emphasis on safety,

Qualifications

• Industrial ammonia refrigeration experience.
• High pressure boiler and utility experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience reading electrical schematics is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems from test results and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and perform repairs.
• Inspect parts for defects and wear.
• Test equipment operation to verify repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections and testing.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, VFD/HMI/Servo controls, conveying systems, valves, sensors.
