Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will follow safety and GMP standards while supporting overall plant goals.

The role requires 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience and a strong mechanical and electrical skillset. SAP experience is a plus; ability to work flexible shifts and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year(s) industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler and utility experience helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and maintained PM plans in ERP (SAP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems from test results, messages, and operator input.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts for repair.
• Inspect parts for defects, wear, and proper fit.
• Test operation with voltmeters and other devices; verify repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections and testing.
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain production machinery (hydraulic, pneumatic, motors, VFD/HMI/Servo, conveyors, sensors).
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed; cut metal for repairs.
• Program computer-controlled machinery and document PM activities in SAP or MIS/ERP.
• Comply with SOPs and safety regulations; uphold GMP and 5S guidelines.
