SENIOR MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - SECOND SHIFT

SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY 1:50 PM - 10:20 PM

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Maintenance Mechanic III at Columbia Sportswear's Distribution Center, you will maintain all equipment and facilities, focusing on conveyor and sorter systems, including motor swaps, ballast changes, and component replacements. Your responsibilities encompass electrical and other equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on warehouse and office equipment, including conveyors, racking, lighting, security, forklifts, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities.
• Perform light janitorial duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Complete tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager safely and efficiently.
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure smooth operations.

YOU ARE

• Able to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
• Capable of collaborating across various organizational levels.
• Able to work under time pressure efficiently.

YOU HAVE

• 5-7 years of experience maintaining warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of hazard communication, chemical safety, lockout/tagout, emergency procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, sit and stand for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Skill in using hand and powered tools with a mechanical aptitude.
