Progress Rail, a Caterpillar company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Mayfield, KY to uphold the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnose mechanical problems, and perform emergency and proactive repairs of production equipment while minimizing downtime.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a Journeyman card or a 2-year degree, OSHA 10 certification, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints with a strong safety focus.

Qualifikationen

• Two (2) or more years industrial, mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Journeyman machine repair, toolmaker, millwright or pipe fitter is preferred.
• Certified/Licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is an asset.
• Basic computer skills required; ability to read technical manuals.

Aufgaben

• Maintain equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in production equipment.
• Perform emergency and proactive repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other equipment as necessary.
• Complete and maintain paperwork for maintenance performed.
