Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to support safe and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. You will perform intermediate maintenance on conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related mechanical assemblies, often with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes reading schematics, performing fabrication and welding, and providing guidance to junior mechanics within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and conveyors.
• Able to read mechanical and hydraulic schematics and manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with CMMS software and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain conveyor belt systems with limited supervision.
• Maintain chain drive systems, tensioners, and lubrication.
• Diagnose and replace worn mechanical components.
• Perform intermediate fabrication, drilling, tapping and basic welding.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems incl. valves and regulators.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and mechanical inspections.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Read drawings and manuals to support repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns and support rapid restoration.
• Assist Maintenance Mechanic I as needed.
