Job summary

Dart Container is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to keep our plant and facility equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose, repair, install and modify machinery while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience performing industrial preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair or comparable training.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance with repair and upkeep of industrial equipment.
• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature and pressure gauges.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild plant and facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to detect and prevent problems and keep machines running smoothly.
• Assist production personnel in change-overs and set-ups.
• Dismantle defective machines to access problem areas or install parts.

What you’ll do…

• Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild a variety of plant and facility equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently
• Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts

What you’ll need...

• Three (3) years’ experience performing industrial preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training
• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, with a solid understanding of repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature and pressure gauges
