Job summary

Dart Container in Lithonia, GA is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader to drive reliability, uptime and preventive maintenance excellence across our manufacturing facility.

You will build and develop teams, implement reliability programs, manage budgets and partner with Operations to maximize production and asset performance. SAP/CMMS experience and a track record of improving OEE are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years manufacturing leadership.
• Experience improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience with CMMS/SAP and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, HVAC and facilities.
• Experience leading reliability programs and root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and facilities operations.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives to reduce failures and improve asset performance.
• Drive uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze performance, downtime trends, and metrics using SAP/CMMS for continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance technicians, development, and performance.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, service, efficiency, uptime, and OEE.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize maintenance activities and maximize production.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, backlog, and capital improvements.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.

Support and execute the maintenance and reliability strategy for a manufacturing facility while driving equipment uptime, preventive maintenance excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. What You'll Do:

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and facilities operations.
• Lead implementation and sustainment of reliability improvement initiatives to reduce equipment failures and improve asset performance.
• Drive equipment uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance metrics using SAP, CMMS, and other reliability systems to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance technicians, employee development, and performance.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, service, efficiency, equipment uptime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Partner with Operations to prioritize maintenance activities and maximize production performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, backlog prioritization, and capital improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with proven results in improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience using CMMS, SAP, or similar maintenance management systems to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, HVAC, and facility systems.
• Experience leading reliability programs, preventive maintenance systems, and root cause failure analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification preferred
• Experience managing multi‑shift or continuous operations
• Chemical or plastics processing (thermoforming, extrusion, and/or injection molding), or packaging industrial experience
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Experience leading capital improvement projects in a manufacturing environment
• SAP experience
