Aspirus Merrill Hospital in Merrill, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join our Maintenance team!

The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment for patients, employees, customers, and visitors. The role involves providing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous operations across all locations we serve.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day Shift with call.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of mechanical standards and practices, typically acquired through a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• State-approved apprenticed Millwright or Machinery Repairman, or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of a designated course at Northcentral Technical College or equivalent.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and regulatory agencies.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in building and equipment maintenance or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
