Job Description

We are searching for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, manuals, and specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
2. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and emergency repairs on various industrial machines in the production area.
3. Operate power equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
4. Notify maintenance supervisor of needed repairs or maintenance concerns.
5. Reduce downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
6. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and managing orders and receipts.
7. Identify signs of machinery malfunction, such as performance changes, temperature fluctuations, unusual noises, smells, or energy usage, and perform troubleshooting.
8. Perform emergency repairs on mechanical, electric, and hydraulic machinery, replacing worn or damaged parts promptly.
9. Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunction through visual checks, listening, and scheduled testing.
10. Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance for each piece of equipment.

Requirements:

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, repair, and safe work practices
• Experience working in a production environment
• Ability to read building and electrical schematics
• Basic math skills, along with excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
