Cold Spring Granite is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to handle setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of plant machinery. The role emphasizes safety and requires minimal supervision as you support production assets.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, installation and relocation of equipment, reading schematics, operating shop tools, and occasional travel. A 2–5 year background or vocational training is expected along with physical capability to lift 75

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a related field or equivalent vocational diploma.
• Manual dexterity.
• Works with minimal protection from inclement weather.
• Lifts 75 lbs and performs bending, kneeling, and squatting.

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Fabricate, install, and move various machinery.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to assist troubleshooting, parts identification, and assembly.
• Operate grinders, welders, torches, and measuring tools.
• Perform emergency and scheduled plumbing duties.
• Rebuild pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical assemblies.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on machinery.
• May travel to other locations as needed.

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm & Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm; overtime as needed

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for duties pertaining to machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of Coldspring’s assets. Duties to be performed with attention to safety standards and limited supervision.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Fabricate, install, and move various machinery.
• Read and understand blue prints, diagrams, and schematics to assist with troubleshooting, parts identification, and assembly.
• Operate tools proficiently such as but not limited to grinders, welders, torches, and measuring tools.
• Performing emergency and scheduled plumbing duties
• Rebuilding pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical assemblies
• Performing preventative maintenance and lubrication on machinery
• May have to travel to other locations as needed
