Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Stuart, FL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support and maintain equipment used in manufacturing components. You will work with a skilled team on corrective and preventive maintenance, following blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer specifications.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to ITAR/EAR regulations, with Monday–Friday onsite hours. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years aerospace/manufacturing experience and a solid mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–3 years of maintenance mechanic experience in aerospace or manufacturing preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Ability to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services and maintains the operating condition of all the facilities equipment.
• Determines the reasons for equipment failure.
• Make routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment.
• Uses manufacturer drawings and specifications, installation, layouts, and sketches to facilitate internal repairs of less than major repairs.
• Acts as subject matter expert and shares knowledge willingly with other employees.
• Assists with training other employees and fosters a team environment.
• Follows all applicable safety rules and precautions and maintains a neat and orderly work area.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
