Job description

Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Henderson, KY
Wage: $28.12 - $41.43 (Depending on experience)
Shift: Openings for both 2nd & 3rd Shift

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, performing changeovers, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the tooling department.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment as needed.
• Perform equipment changeovers based on production demands.
• Provide preventative maintenance to plant equipment.
• Rebuild presses and support equipment.
• Maintain hand tools for condition and compliance.
• Read mechanical prints, and troubleshoot motors and controls.
• PLC programming skills are a plus.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Engage in continuous skills improvement as outlined by the maintenance training matrix.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Work cooperatively within a team environment.
• Work schedule: 40-48 hours/week plus overtime as required.
• Document maintenance activities accurately using the CMMS system.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited electromechanical degree or equivalent experience.
• Meet ACT Work Keys assessment requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude testing at minimum requirements.
• Background in mechanical, machining, or electrical fields.
• Ability to lift 10-50 lbs., with frequent carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
