Job summary

Davidson College seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist HVAC, plumbing, and steam systems across campus buildings, housing, and plant facilities. You will perform repairs, support system maintenance, and log work orders, while participating in a rotating on-call schedule to address trouble calls.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid NC driver’s license, with the ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and operate safely in indoor and outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, and steam systems across campus buildings.
• Assist HVAC technicians with refrigeration and air handling systems maintenance.
• Assist in repairs of steam and water distribution campus-wide.
• Service fire pumps in campus buildings.
• Log hours and describe work performed and materials used on work orders.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for trouble calls.
