Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a General Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across Harvest or Processing of our beef facility. You will work in environments that can be cold, damp or hot, and you must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, climb stairs and ladders.

Minimum requirements include 6 months of mechanic experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program, with tours required before an offer. Welding experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Must be able to tour before offer.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across departments in Harvest or Processing.
• Work in cold, damp or hot environments and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders; welding experience is preferred.
