Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in West Deptford, NJ to maintain plant mechanical systems and ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform repairs, rebuild rotating equipment, piping work, and preventative maintenance rounds.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, collaboration with engineering and operations, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a chemical/manufacturing environment.
• Millwright experience is a plus.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., email, internet, CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plant mechanical equipment and systems.
• Repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot rotating equipment.
• Fabricate and install piping; complete preventative maintenance rounds.
• Read mechanical drawings and manuals; maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental policies are followed.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Be available for overtime and emergency call-ins.
