Mountaire Farms is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic for the 2nd Shift in our Further Processing area in Millsboro, Delaware. The role focuses on repairing, programming, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities include completing preventive maintenance and work orders, setting up and tearing down equipment, and responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime. A High School education and trade-specific credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Trade work experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience.
• Certificates or apprenticeship program desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete PMs as assigned.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Set up/tear down/adjust equipment.
• Trouble shooting.
