## Maintenance Mechanic- Full Time Days Parsons#### This job posting has been archived.### Category:Facilities management### Department:Facilities management### Description:This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment and systems to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.**Key Responsibilities:*** Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hospital equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues efficiently* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies* Assist in emergency maintenance situations as needed* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs* Collaborate with other departments to address facility needs**Essential Skills and Abilities:*** Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities* Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals* Effective communication and teamwork skills* Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent* Certification or technical training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing (preferred)* Minimum **2 years of experience** in facility maintenance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting* Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards Ability to be on-call for emergency repairs (as needed)### Posted:Tuesday, June 18, 2024### Closing:Open until filled**Labette Health** 1902 S.
