Job summary

LMH Health in Lawrence, KS seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to monitor, operate and maintain building systems equipment, perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to keep hospital operations running smoothly. You will complete rounds, record readings, and participate in on-call rotation.

HVAC certification and trades knowledge are a plus for this role. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates hold HVAC certification and have hands-on experience in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Carpentry, painting, sheetrock skills preferred.
• Two years of hospital experience preferred.
• Technical training in a craft or trade program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical rounds of hospital equipment and completes appropriate paperwork.
• Performs zone maintenance rounds.
• Performs PMs on assigned equipment.
• Monitors and makes repairs as needed.
• Participates in Mechanic’s on-call rotation.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance is essential.
