Job summary

Seneca Foods in Cambria, WI seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing food processing equipment, performing repairs during production, and overhauling plant machinery during off-peak periods to ensure readiness for the next production run.

The successful candidate will inspect and repair equipment, read blueprints, fabricate and install components, and maintain detailed maintenance records while upholding GMPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine the layout of the assigned work
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
• Monitor equipment operation, making any necessary adjustments
• Ensure that GMP's (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned
