Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably. The role requires lifting 15 to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working during weekends and holidays in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment with loud equipment.

Responsibilities include repairing pneumatic/hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and assisting with preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with/without accommodations.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventive maintenance systems and work orders to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to maximize equipment efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Helpful Experience

• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
