Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional in Arlington, TX, to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production safe and reliable.

The role requires diagnosing AC/DC systems, working with hydraulic/pneumatic components, and applying multi-craft skills on a daily basis. You will operate in a high-energy, full-time environment with exposure to extreme conditions and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to work weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift 15–50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazards or loud equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to maximize equipment efficiency, safety, and performance.

Job description

Quick Look

• Pay: $40.71 per hour
• Location: Arlington, TX
• Work Days: Dependent on business need; working 5 days per week, 8 hours
• Start Time: 2:00 pm or 10:00 pm subject to change
• End Time: 10:00 pm or 6:00 am subject to change

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• Required to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 points with or without a reasonable accommodation

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety

Helpful Experience

• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
