Job summary

Alter Trading Corporation in North Little Rock, AR is seeking an energetic Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment. The role requires inspecting equipment, maintaining records, and organizing the Maintenance Department.

High school diploma or GED required.
Prefer AAS (technical degree) and/or technical certification in Truck Repair, Welding, Hydraulics, and Electrical & Diesel Mechanics.
2-4 years’ experience in truck repairs, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, welding, electrical record keeping, and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
Inspect and conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
May maintain facility equipment, on or off site including but not limited to Skid Steer and Wire Striper.
Prepare & maintain all maintenance records.
Organize and maintain cleanliness of Maintenance Department.
Involved in ordering parts, welding, and fabricating, minor electrical repairs.
