Job summary

Bridor USA is hiring Maintenance Mechanics for our Salt Lake City industrial bakery facility. You will work on modern production and packaging equipment, supporting a growing operation with a range of mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, and refrigeration tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or related certification preferred.
• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, mixers, pumps, packaging machinery, and other equipment.
• Install, modify, repair, and calibrate equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist with changeovers, setups, and testing.
• Maintain work orders and CMMS records.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and other teams.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 40+ hours per week

Bridor is hiringMaintenance Mechanics for our new industrial bakery manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City.

This is an opportunity to work with modern production and packaging equipment while helping support and strengthen a growing manufacturing operation. We welcome candidates with a range of experience—from skilled manufacturing line mechanics to experienced maintenance professionals with strong electrical, controls, automation, or refrigeration knowledge.

The level of the position and starting pay will be based on the candidate’s technical skills and experience.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot conveyors, mixers, pumps, packaging machinery, and other industrial bakery equipment
• Install, modify, repair, and calibrate equipment to support safe and efficient operations
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Assist with equipment changeovers, setups, testing, and adjustments
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Help manage spare-parts, tools, and maintenance-supply inventory
• Partner with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and other departments to resolve equipment and operational issues
• Follow all food safety, GMP, workplace safety, health, and environmental requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school, vocational training, or a related certification preferred
• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment drawings, and technical manuals
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting is a plus
• Ammonia refrigeration or HVAC experience is a plus
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, OSHA, FDA, DEP, EPA, and TCPA requirements is preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance-management systems
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
• Availability to work assigned 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
• Work in a new, growing industrial bakery manufacturing facility
