Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking Maintenance Technicians at our Center of Excellence in Clinton, PA. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, supporting production staff, fabricating fixtures, and identifying improvements while adhering to GMP/SOP requirements. A technical degree and hands-on automation knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using electrical controls and automation components.
• Experience in high-volume or regulated production environments preferred.

Job Summary

Haemonetics is hiring Maintenance Technicians out of our Center of Excellence in Clinton, PA! In this role, you will directly impact product quality and operational efficiency. You will apply advanced technical problem-solving within the manufacturing department.

Primary Responsibilities

• Minimizes equipment downtime and ensures achievement of daily and weekly production goals by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, including molding machines, high volume, high speed automated assembly equipment, welder, conveyor systems, and other auxiliary equipment such as case sealer, printers, labelers, flow wrappers, etc. Utilizes diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions, and engineering specifications in the completion of these job functions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; soliciting information from line operators and other production associates, and listening for problems. Uses precision measuring and testing instruments, gauges, and other hand tools to complete essential functions.
• Verifies effectiveness of repairs, improvements and ensures product produced meets specification.
• Performs and documents all preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's operation and maintenance schedule, policy and procedure and facility guidelines.
• Provides mechanical maintenance support to production associates by answering questions and requests; communicating with operators, engineering, management, outside contractors and others as necessary.
• Fabricates any new fixturing required for the department to which assigned, as well as modifications to existing equipment.
• Assists with investigating potential areas for quality and efficiency improvements.
• Recommends process adjustments to aid production. Implements changes as directed.
• Recommends and implement improvements to ensure a safe workplace. Identifies and reports potential safety hazards.
• Orders spare parts inventory for machines and equipment.
• Complies with all GMP's, SOP's, MI's and SI's during the course of his work.
• Complies with facility escalation procedures.
• Maintains all required documentation, including production and maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Technical Degree, Certification, or Apprenticeship in related field, preferred. High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment utilizing electrical controls, low-voltage systems, sensors, actuators, motor controls, and related automation components.
• Maintenance experience in a high-volume and/or regulated production environment, preferred.

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this role is:

$23.80-$40.40/Hourly

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation. For sales roles , employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles , employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
