Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and precision machining operations. You will ensure equipment reliability, production output, and quality standards while performing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role involves working with Automatrix assembly equipment, Swiss-type CNC screw machines, laser marking

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational maintenance training preferred.
2–3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated machinery, ideally with Automatrix or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of gear drives, motors, sensors, pneumatics, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust automated manufacturing equipment, including Automatrix systems and Swiss-type CNC screw machines.
Perform machine setups, changeovers, tooling changes, material loading, and process verification activities.
Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Replace worn or damaged components, including belts, bearings, gears, rollers, sensors, tooling, and pneumatic devices.
Support downtime tracking and reporting in Power BI or other approved systems.
Assist with preventive maintenance and inspections; diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to implement corrective actions and improvements.
