Job summary

Harvest Hill Beverage Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A in Verona, PA to inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the plant and surrounding facilities without supervision.

The position requires diagnosing faults to circuit board level, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production with safe, compliant operations. Tools are provided by the company; you must furnish your own hand tools and work independently to complete tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
• Possess the electrical competency to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions down to circuit board level.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment to “like new” state when required.
• Work unassisted and unsupervised to job completion in a timely and proficient manner.
• Maintain or exceed speed and efficiency while maintaining or improving quality of work.
• Install and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts.
• Operate mechanical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs.
• Care for and use hand tools in the repair of equipment and structures.
• Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs.
• Perform all general preventative maintenance duties such as greasing oiling, etc.
• Possess excellent technical and critical thinking skills.
• Well versed in a broad spectrum of trades.
• Must provide own hand tools and tool box.
• Identify issues that he/she is not able to rectify and communicate them promptly to the Maintenance Manager for assistance.
