Job summary

Olds Products Company in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair/process equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, welding and machining as needed, and collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure safe, compliant operations. Technical proficiency and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical college degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on process, packaging, and building equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify opportunities for improvement, repair, or replacement.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain and repair pumps, valves, conveyors, fillers, labelers, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Weld, fabricate, machine, and perform plumbing tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with production personnel to support continuous operations.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and GMP requirements.
• Experience with Krones filling and packaging equipment is a plus.
