Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a maintenance professional for our Eau Claire, WI facility to support 2-2-3 night shift operations from 4:50 pm to 5:00 am. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and adherence to Nestlé quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Consistently reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical (1-3 phase), hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and fabrication tasks.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
• Utilize MMS and PLC interfaces to monitor and control processes.
• Assist in continuous improvement and maintain a clean, 5S workspace.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

• Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule working night shift from 4:50pm-5am
• Great overtime pay opportunities, may include some double and triple time opportunities!
• This position has a pay rangestarting at $38.27/HR with an extra $1.25/HR for time on the night shift

• Follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices, report food safety and quality issues immediately.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Nestle Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs.
• Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated in the Quality Management System, on-the-job training, and standard operating procedures that apply.
• Understand and apply the principles of continuous improvement in the work area.
• Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school degree or equivalentRequired
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience
• Consistently reliable attendance
• Willingness to work a 2-2-3 schedule.

Skills:

• At least one year experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills & ability to multi-task.
• Computer skills acquired through work experience.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance work including mechanical, 1&3 phase electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Working knowledge of PLC's computer interfaces, or other related electrical control devices
• Computer knowledge of the MMS (Maintenance Management System)
• Problem solving/critical thinking abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills
