Job summary

Clyde’s Donuts is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Glendale Heights facility. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production, packaging, and facility equipment, including HVAC and conveyors.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work on a 2nd shift (2:00-10:30pm) with overtime opportunities. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, annual tool allowance, call-in premium, weekend bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

4+ years of related industrial maintenance experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret complex manuals and instructions.
Able to troubleshoot malfunctions under time constraints and pressure to restore operations.
Able to do basic math and apply algebra/geometry as required.
Able to communicate effectively and professionally.

Responsibilities

Maintain production equipment and building systems via planned preventative maintenance and repairs.
Use MVP One to access maintenance schedules, work orders, and log actions.
Install new electrical and mechanical equipment as directed.
Read schematics and test equipment to establish facts and draw conclusions.
Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure safety, GMPs, and food safety requirements are met.
