Job summary

The Maintenance Mechanic position at Koozie Group is a 2nd shift role supporting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment improvements to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Based in Clearwater, FL, candidates should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, plus a year of bindery or print equipment experience. Training on 1st shift is required during the initial months.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent manufacturing maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year bindery or print equipment experience.
• Must be able to train on first shift for the first few months.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production machinery and plant equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and nonscheduled repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, PLC/HMI, and motion-control issues.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, equipment installation, and startup.
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and electrical drawings.
