Job summary

Western States Envelope and Label Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for its Butler, WI plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate machinery to keep production running smoothly in a climate-controlled, team-based environment.

Ideal candidates have prior manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical abilities, and the ability to read technical documents. Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday with a market-top hourly rate and a shift premium.

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing maintenance experience required.
  • Strong mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read ruler measurements.
  • Stand for eight hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Perform maintenance from drawings and specifications.
  • Install, assemble, move, or disassemble machinery.
  • Inspect parts for wear and misalignment.
  • Order parts as needed.
  • Welding, millwright, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems, plumbing, metalworking.

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with Western States, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.We are seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Mechanic with previous experience in a production environment for our Butler Plant, located minutes from Milwaukee. Sensory requirements are tactile/touch with hands and digits, near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Reasoning, mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills for appropriate operations of the equipment.
