Primary Functions: Maintain and repair all machinery and mechanical equipment in the plant. This includes experience with various equipment such as automobiles, tractors, cranes, trailers, production machinery, Travelift, loaders, pickup trucks, and lift trucks. Knowledge of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, heating, air conditioning, and sanitary systems is also required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality product output.

• Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose issues.
• Dismantle and reassemble machines as needed.
• Replace broken or worn parts.
• Order replacement parts when necessary.
• Make adjustments for proper operation.
• Maintain building structures and equipment, including electrical systems, plumbing, and occasional painting or touch-ups.
• Repair, rebuild, or overhaul internal combustion engines, including replacing piston rings, bearings, and other parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors.
• Overhaul transmissions, and repair fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
