Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our Greenville, SC facility operating smoothly. You will perform a wide range of mechanical repairs, diagnose issues in pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, conveyors, and pumps, and ensure timely preventive maintenance and documentation.

The role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, work overtime, and collaborate within a team while delivering safe, reliable machine performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Use tools safely to perform a wide range of repair tasks to keep the facility operating.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical issues.
• Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Maintain gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and agitator systems.
• Complete tasks and documentation accurately.

Job Summary

A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to get worse. A Maintenance Mechanic will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge and proper use of tools; a wide range of knowledge with power tools and hand tools
  • Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, and or electrical trouble shooting
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints.
• Knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, chains, pumps, and agitator systems
• Assist in other mechanical duties as required.
• Complete any and all tasks given by department management.
• Complete any and all documentation associated with the task given.
• Knowledge and proper techniques for Preventive Maintenance task
